IEEE 2025 International Conference on Signal Processing, Computation, Electronics, Power and Telecommunication (IConSCEPT) is a premier conference of NIT Puducherry, which is scheduled to be held at the National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal, India, during December 6-7, 2025 (IEEE Madras Section Technically Co-Sponsored) and it is collectively organized by the Departments of EEE, ECE and CSE of NIT Puducherry. In the years 2024 & 2023, IConSCEPT was conducted successfully with the IEEE Madras section as a technical co-sponsor, and its proceedings were published in IEEE Xplore. The conference aims to bring students, experts, scholars, and industry professionals from all over the world to present and discuss emerging ideas and trends in their respective research fields. All the accepted papers presented at the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore for publication, subject to their norms. The organizing committee invites prospective authors to submit original contributions to 2025 IConSCEPT.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in 2010. Since then, the department has held a position of pride in NITPY. The Department offers B.Tech., M.Tech., M.Tech. (by Research), and Ph.D. courses. The curriculum ensures that the courses are integrated with core concepts and cutting-edge technology in IT.
The department has always attracted the best engineering aspirants from all over the country, and it has consistently fulfilled the role of producing computer engineers ready to meet the demands of the IT world. The department is well-qualified with an experienced team of faculty and well-equipped with high-end computing facilities to support the teaching-learning activities. The department is also actively involved in various research activities.
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established during the inception of the institute in the year 2010. It offers undergraduate (B. Tech.), and Ph.D. programmes in the various fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The department has been imparting quality education for the students. The UG curriculum provides strong base to the students in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and provides exposure to the latest technologies. The course curriculum and various laboratories are being revised from time to time so as to keep abreast with the latest developments and emerging technologies.
The department is equipped with good teaching and non-teaching staffs. The faculty members have been active in teaching and research activities. The major areas of faculty expertise include Power System Reliability and Planning, Alternative Energy Resources in Smart grid Environment, Application of Swarm Intelligent Techniques in Power Systems, Partial Discharge studies (testing & simulation), Power Electronic Circuits, Power Electronics application on Power System, PID controller, Fractional order controllers, Robust Control, Instrumentation system Design, Neural Network Applications to Electrical Drives and Control. The research activity of the department includes both fundamental research and sponsored projects.
